シドニーでの江戸角凧の展示会。

The Japan Foundation のギャラリーに私の凧、大小合わせて40点を素敵に飾っていただきました。

2019年7月～10月まで展示されました。オープニング・セレモニーでは大勢の方々に参加していただきました。
1時間程のレクチャーでは、日本の凧についてのお話し、また、東京の凧揚げ事情、日本各地にまだ続いている『伝統大凧あげ祭り』、日本全国の伝統凧、等々をスライドでお見せしながら、日本の凧文化を紹介しました。
その後、私のDVDを見ていただき質疑応答もさせていただきました。
皆さん日本文化にとても興味があるようで、たくさんの質問にお答えしました。

The exhibition of my Edo-kaku-dako kites in Sydney.

It was a great success, large and small 40 pieces of my kites were displayed at the the gallery of the Japan Foundation, Sydney nicely.

We had some workshops for kids and young people.

Many people participated at the opening ceremony. My kites were on display from July to October 2019.

In the lecture, I talked about the Japanese kites, and also, the traditional giant kite festivals, after that, I showed to the people my DVD.

Everyone seemed to be very interested in Japanese culture, and I answered many questions. 

SMASH (Sydney Manga and Anime Show) と言うシドニー最大の日本文化紹介イベントが ICC (INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE / シドニー)にて開催され、国際交流基金のブースに私の凧7点、江戸角凧スケートボード、同柄の手ぬぐい（※清雅堂様とのコラボ製品）それぞれ3点づつが展示されました。

Sydney's largest Japanese cultural introduction event called SMASH (Sydney Manga and Anime Show) was held at ICC (INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER / Sydney). My seven small "Kaku-dako" kites, three skateboards and three TENUGUI (Japanese towel) were displayed at the booth of the Japan Foundation Sydney. The skateboard and TENUGUI were the collaboration product with Seigado corporation.

※石川県加賀市伝統工芸品『山中漆器』の有限会社清雅堂様とのコラボレーションで、 2020年東京オリンピックに向けて凧絵のスケートボード、そしてスケボーと同じ柄の手ぬぐいを制作しました。「大江山」「金太郎」「富士越龍」の３種類です。

*The collaboration with SEIGADO corporation, a traditional craft product "Yamanaka Lacquer" in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture: 

We have produced three designs of Skateboard and three TENUGUI (Japanese towel) for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

There are three types: "Oeyama", "Kintaro" and "Fujigoe Ryu".
